Lisa Gooder is the executive director of editorial at Brides, overseeing all print and digital content, product strategy and licensing. Prior to her appointment, Lisa was executive digital director for the brand, having joined in 2011 to revamp Brides. During her tenure, Lisa helped modernize the brand and take the website to new levels, expanding content, including the growth of video. Society of Publication Designers award for editorial design excellence in 2017, and in both 2013 and 2014 Brides Live Wedding won a min award for Best Social Media Initiative. Lisa began her career in weddings in 1998 as one of the earliest employees of The Knot. She also previously held posts at Associated Content and CaféMom. Susan Plagemann is the chief business officer of The Style Division, which includes Vogue, GQ, Glamour, Allure, W, Brides and Iris.
She oversees consumer revenue for this collection of brands, and leads all fashion and beauty sales for the company. Under Plagemann’s leadership, Vogue has received numerous industry accolades including ASME’s 2015 Magazine of the Year Award and 2013 General Excellence Award. Plagemann was recognized with Condé Nast’s General Record Profit Award in 2014 and the previous year, she received Condé Nast’s first-ever Three-Year Plan Award for building record levels of profitability and growth from 2010 to 2012. From 2004 to 2009, Plagemann was vice president and publisher of Marie Claire, where she helped to re-establish the brand.
